Gut CheckPrivacy policy
Last updated October 28, 2026.
What we collect
- Sign-in: when you sign in with Google, our sign-in provider (Supabase) receives your name, email address and Google account ID. We use them only to sign you in.
- Your settings: the nickname you choose, the sportsbooks you use, your starting bankroll and unit size, and when you accepted the rules.
- Bets you log: the pick, odds, sportsbook, units and time. These are stored under a random account ID, not your name or email.
- Basic technical logs from our hosting providers (like IP address and browser type), used to keep the site running and secure.
What we don't collect
No payment or bank details, no sportsbook logins, no location tracking. We don't sell your data or show ads.
How it's used
To run your account and show your record. Logged bets are also pooled with everyone's, without names, emails or account IDs, to study which kinds of bets beat the market; those pooled results may be shown on the site.
Who processes it
Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting) and Google (sign-in). They handle data for us under their own security and privacy terms.
Your choices
You can change your settings any time, and delete your account in Settings, which removes your profile and your logged bets. For anything else, email gutchecksupport@gmail.com.
Age
Gut Check is for people 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
